This doctoral program is designed for professionals with an academic background in engineering or a related STEM discipline and industry experience. If you apply with only a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field, you must complete the full 60 credit hours required for graduation. If you’ve earned a master’s degree in an applicable field, you may transfer up to 15 credit hours.

Traditional certification involves two internships and one student teaching experience, while the alternative route requires being hired as an early childhood teacher and completing two apprentice teaching courses, with an additional course or internship to meet requirements.
