Is this degree similar to a master’s in graphic design?

A master’s in graphic design and a master’s in graphic information technology both utilize visual and graphic design to tell a story. However, a master’s in graphic information technology emphasizes the technical web development side of graphic design, in addition to focusing on the visual aspect of graphic design. This provides you with both technical and creative skills needed to pursue careers in a variety of fields including user experience (UX) design, web design and digital media.

This program explores evidence-based techniques for supporting autistic individuals in educational, clinical, community and workplace settings. You’ll analyze ASD characteristics, dispel misconceptions and evaluate credible sources to guide families and caregivers. ASU offers graduate programs in autism spectrum disorders and applied behavior analysis (ABA). While neither programs lead to teacher certification, these programs benefit educators, administrators, interventionists, psychologists, speech therapists and families with specialized skills related to either ASD or ABA. • Master of Arts in special education – autism spectrum disorders
  • This program focuses on understanding ASD and providing a range of support to help autistic individuals thrive. Coursework aligns with the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) autism special education standards and emphasizes evidence-based strategies for learning and development. You’ll complete a practicum, gaining hands-on experience through 45 direct contact hours under supervision. Working with an autistic individual in a school, community or family setting is required to meet program requirements.
• Master of Arts in special education – applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Through this program, you’ll learn behavior assessment and intervention, preparing you to support individuals with ASD, ADHD and other learning and behavioral needs. This program follows a systematic, research-based approach to behavior modification, leading to eligibility for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination.

Both programs provide practical experience and evidence-based training, helping professionals create meaningful, individualized support strategies.

If you’re working in a forensic science, law enforcement, medical or legal role and looking to elevate your career in management or research, this program would be a great fit for you. You’ll advance your skills in forensic science with courses in toxicology, botany, entomology, forensic science and forensic DNA.

The coursework in this program provides you with the opportunity to simultaneously explore forensic science ethics, as well as your leadership abilities in this field. As an ideal candidate, you should aspire to hold leadership positions in forensic or crime laboratories. The curriculum was designed for those with the following backgrounds in mind:

• You’re a practicing forensic scientist working in a lab setting. Ideally, you’re looking to enroll in the forensic science master’s program to earn more education, skills and experience to support career advancement.
• You’re currently working with medical examiner’s office personnel, law enforcement or the legal community with additional training in forensic science and want greater exposure to work within a lab setting.

Please note, not working in one of the above settings is not prohibitive from being admitted, but it’s essential that students have a general interest in forensic science.

Throughout this program, you’ll learn key issues, theories and applied practices related to global justice and humanitarianism. You’ll also address how intersecting dimensions of social identity influence human rights, including gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexuality and nationality.

While studying these topics, you’ll gain the skills needed to design research projects and write grants to support the research and practice of social justice and human rights nonprofit managers and scholars.

Who’s a good candidate for this program?

This program aligns with those who have previous experience in human rights and social justice work or a general interest in these topics. However, the most important factor for interested students is a passion for understanding social injustice. As long as you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, you can apply to this program.

In this program, you'll examine the challenges posed by various threat actors, from state-sponsored hackers to decentralized criminal networks. You’ll also explore how cyber strategy, policy and defence mechanisms evolve and respond.

Courses are taught by leading experts from ASU’s Center on the Future of War and D.C.-based think tank New America, including former U.S. Cyber Command leadership and internationally recognized scholars. Case studies and policy exercises are grounded in real-world scenarios. These depict current cybersecurity trends, legal frameworks and strategic decision-making at the high levels.

Is this program the same as an international education master’s?

Yes, this global education master’s has the same learning outcomes as an international education master’s. The curriculum combines theory and practice in courses that address local and global educational challenges. You’ll apply social science methodologies and engage in collaborative projects that focus on creating innovative solutions.

Graduates are prepared to examine and help design systems that provide quality education to international and national populations. This includes evaluating and improving innovative and sustainable practices. You’ll also be able to analyze the impact of global education policy through socioeconomic, political and historical lenses.

This program focuses on maintaining compliance regulations in developing, approving and marketing medical products. You’ll learn how to apply regulations throughout the life cycle of medical products and pharmaceuticals with an emphasis on safety, quality and performance. Coursework in the online regulatory science degree covers:

This regulatory science master’s is a great fit for professionals who are interested in the regulation of medical products from discovery to market approval to post-market. This includes the regulation of new drugs, biologics, gene therapy, cell therapy and related medical research or devices.
