This program was developed in collaboration with ASU’s Center on the Future of War and the School of Politics and Global Studies. You’ll connect with top faculty and professionals from across global security fields, including journalism, government, military service and humanitarian work.
You’ll also study the drivers of global conflict and cooperation from an interdisciplinary lens, drawing from political science, history, anthropology and related fields. Coursework covers great power competition, cyber warfare, compound security threats, diplomacy and the political economy of security.

Applicants to the Master of Arts in global security program must fulfill the requirements of the Graduate College and The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 12 units of their post-baccalaureate transcript.
