Applicants to the CALL certificate program must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Applicants may apply if they have earned a bachelor's or master's degree with a major or minor in foreign language study, English or English education from a regionally accredited institution. You may also apply if you are currently enrolled in a related ASU master’s program.
Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in the last 60 hours of their bachelor's program. Alternatively, applicants must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA in an applicable master's program.
All applicants must submit:
- Graduate admission application and application fee.
- Official transcripts.
- Personal statement.
- Up-to-date curriculum vitae or resume.
- An applicant whose native language is not English (regardless of current residency) must provide proof of English proficiency.
- International students who need an F-1 visa or J-1 visa must first apply to and be accepted into a graduate degree program before being considered for this certificate program. International students residing in the U.S. on other types of visas must adhere to all Graduate College policies and procedures regarding admission to be considered for admission to this certificate program.
- GRE, GMAT or other test scores are not required for admission.
