Health care simulation education centers around using patient care manikins (or patient simulators), models and standardized patients (or simulated participants) to replicate real interactions. This enables health care providers to enhance their skills while maintaining patient safety. By learning how to use simulation technology strategically, you’ll graduate prepared to play a vital role in improving health outcomes.

In your courses, you’ll gain the abilities needed to design, develop and conduct evidence-based health care simulations. You’ll also expand your knowledge about scenario design, systems thinking, student/participant assessment methodologies, debriefing strategies, project development, operations management and more. In this AACSB-accredited program, you’ll build advanced knowledge in accounting and auditing, with an additional focus on data analytics. Through your coursework, you’ll also gain proficiency in the technologies and methodologies used in audits.

Additionally, you’ll expand your critical thinking and analytical skills as you explore topics such as statistics and coding for accounting analytics, performance measurement and more. Enhance your learning experience with synchronous courses

This program is designed with lecture- and case-study-based learning opportunities and emphasizes practical application through projects. Every course will consist of live, virtual participation for at least 50% of the time, creating opportunities for you to interact with faculty and your peers.

When applying to this program, you should ensure you have the time needed to attend virtual sessions at designated meeting times. If you choose the one-year program, you’ll have live course sessions twice a week. If you select the two-year option, you’ll attend one live session a week. Outside of scheduled sessions, you can complete course activities on your own time.

Does this MACC fulfill CPA requirements?

The CPA designation isn’t critical for all accounting career paths, but becoming a CPA could be advantageous in the accounting profession. CPA requirements are set by each state, and all states require a minimum total of 150 credit hours. Students are encouraged to review the requirements of the state(s) in which they intend to seek a CPA license. Each state has a board of accountancy that can provide this information. The ideal candidate for this program is an associate degree-prepared nurse. You should also have a strong interest in educating other nurses, either in academic or clinical settings, on topics including best teaching practices, curriculum development and evaluation of educational effectiveness. Do you need to be a registered nurse to apply to this program?

Yes. To be eligible for this RN to MS in nursing with a nursing education concentration bridge program, you must have an associate degree in nursing. You also must have a current, unencumbered RN license to apply. While you don’t need to be currently employed as an RN, it’s ideal if you are.

This Master of Counseling online will prepare you to become a licensed professional counselor in Arizona and other states with comparable licensure requirements. Upon graduation, you can work in a range of settings from small clinical private practices to large agencies and hospitals.
