What is power engineering?

Electrical power engineering refers to the practice of creating and improving systems for handling electric power. What does an electrical power engineer do?

Electrical power engineers specialize in designing and operating technologies related to the electrical grid and power generation. Your job duties may involve electric system analysis, wind turbine design, solar panel development, generator maintenance and more depending on your position. • Students who’ve earned an AAS from a regionally accredited Arizona community college may be eligible to transfer up to 75 credits toward their BAS.
