How our two integrated behavioral health certificate programs compare
While both certificate programs prepare professionals for careers in integrated health care, each focuses on different aspects of the field.
This program is designed for clinicians, including social workers, counselors, psychologists and allied health providers, who want to treat patients directly in primary care settings. You’ll learn how to deliver brief, evidence-based behavioral health interventions while working alongside medical teams to implement support care strategies that improve patient health outcomes.
ASU’s online graduate certificate in integrated behavioral health with a management concentration empowers current or aspiring health care managers to oversee and implement integrated care models. This program focuses on the business and operational aspects of integrated care systems, including funding strategies, policy and the logistics of integrating behavioral and medical services.
The clinical certificate provides the real-world training you need to work directly with patients. If you’re interested in leading, designing and managing integrated care programs, the management certificate may be the better choice.
