Applicants to the Master of Laws program must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.

Applicants educated outside of the U.S. are required to use the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) Master of Laws Credential Assembly Service (CAS), which includes the ASU Law Electronic Application, the Document Assembly Service and the International Transcript and Authentication Service (if applicable).

The following must be uploaded in addition to the LSAC Electronic Application for a submission to be complete:

  • CAS report from the current year.
  • Explanations of affirmative answers to any character and fitness questions.
  • Personal statement that is a minimum of two and a maximum of three double-spaced typed pages.
  • Resume with a maximum of three typed pages.
  • Transcripts from all institutions attended, including confirmation that a bachelor’s degree in law was conferred.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Writing sample.
