Description
The minor in political science from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences develops skills and knowledge that’ll help you effectively participate as citizens in a democratic political system. The program also helps you flourish in the rapidly developing globalization of the world's political institutions, cultures and economies.
The minor aims to provide students with an introduction to the tools and skills necessary to make connections linking theory with real-world problems and issues. Career opportunities for students with experience in political science include the judiciary branch of government, local and national newspapers, all levels of government, and nonprofit organizations and multinational corporations.
