The minor in sustainability introduces sustainability principles and explains how they can be applied to all academic disciplines and professional fields. Students explore the challenges of sustainability in institutions, organizations, cultures and technology. These challenges are viewed through local, national and international contexts.
The minor is intended to draw from and inform any major in the university. Job candidates with both sustainability skills and experience in their field are highly valued because they bring useful and much-needed combinations of skills to organizations.
